Our mission is to support the LGBT and straight communities in the Tampa Bay area through the arts with a comprehensive band... program to include a marching band, concert
band, jazz band, colorguard, and a youth band.
Founder’s Notes
The Tampa Bay Pride Band was born from the desire to have an outstanding musical ensemble meant to be a point of pride for ALL members of the Tampa Bay Community, and affiliated with the LGBT community of Tampa Bay. We intend to have an outstanding concert program, putting on concerts of the highest quality and partnering with other ensembles of quality in the State of Florida. We also want to represent the LGBT community in the Bay Area Pride Parades in both Tampa and St Petersburg. We hope you’ll join us to make great music and become a point of pride for community bands in the Bay Area. Contact us through this site to become a part of this exciting new ensemble.
About
Partnership
The program will partner with HCC and the Metro Wellness Center in the Ybor City district of Tampa to provide a central rehearsal location close to the Crosstown Expressway, I-4, and I-275, allowing more convenient travel to members outside of downtown Tampa.
